Just a few lines of our handwashing jingle that proved how important it is to have a good health.

The benefits that will be reaped will be for the whole family. This journey is something that should be done with teamwork. In summary, we are well-aware that this will not be easy. The best part is it is FREE! It will bring not only monetary savings, but we are also sure that what we eat is chemical free and organic. As aligned with the theme that we have this year, we are encouraging families to plant and cultivate their own fruits and vegetables in their backyards. But, we shouldn’t despair as there’s still time to change that. Junk foods like chips and soda with lower nutritional values are becoming easier to access. Children tend to get more obese, as they prefer fast food rather than fruits and vegetables. People become more and more ensnared with this kind of cycle that they forget which things are more important. With the advent of technology, comes the busy and fast-pace lifestyle that a modern Juan dela Cruz is experiencing. Today is the time that we wrap up another successful celebration of our nutrition month with the theme “Ugaliing magtanim, sapat na nutrisyon ay aanihin.” This topic is very timely, as obtaining the right amount of nutrients especially for children is becoming more and more ardous.
